Mediation & Conciliation
I am an accredited Mediator with the Centre for Dispute Resolution (CEDR).
I have conducted over a dozen mediations, the large majority of them resulting in immediate settlement, since completing my training and accreditation with CEDR in 1996. These have included multi-national and multi-party disputes.
I believe mediation offers an effective means of resolving IT disputes, particularly for smaller claims and those in their early stages.
I support other variants on the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) theme: an approach that combines independent expert determination with mediation, applied in a phased manner, rather than compressed into a single day's negotiations, can be a powerful aid to settlement.
