I am an Information Technology specialist with over 30 years' experience of specifying, designing, building and implementing computer systems.

I have managed dozens of IT projects for clients in the private and public sectors. I am experienced in a wide range of hardware and software technologies, from PCs to mainframes and packaged software to bespoke internet-based applications.

I worked for major software producers and IT management consulting practices from 1978 to 1996, when I established an independent consultancy. I specialise in IT project management, contract negotiation and dispute resolution. I have acted as Expert Witness in over 80 cases, including Single Joint Expert appointments, and as Mediator in over a dozen cases. Typical cases involve allegations of breach of contract and fitness for purpose of software.

My Expert reports are rigorous and objective. Extensive experience in managing complex IT projects, and as Expert in several very substantial claims, enables me to isolate and explain the key issues in litigation, avoiding technical jargon and obfuscation.

I work with other consultants where necessary. I am happy to provide references from a number of leading solicitors and barristers, and to discuss prospective appointments on a "without obligation" basis.
